2007

There were 159 fire/rescue calls in 2007.  Not only is this an increase over 2006, but averages to about one call every other day. In the Spring of this year, Lempster experienced yet another devastating flood.  At one point, there was no access into the town.  Fire and Rescue personnel manned an emergency operations center for more than 36 hours during the floods, providing the necessary structure for emergency response services for the town.
